On April 20th, ISM families from in and around Houston area got together for Spring picnic event at the George Bush Park in Katy. A few alumni had travelled all the way from San Antonio and New Orleans just for this event. That day the weather was perfect for Houston area with clear skies and temperature around upper 70s. Around 90 adults and 45 kids attended the event, and all had great time mingling, catching up with each other and participating in various fun activities.

Alumni from 1960s to most recent batches were in attendance. There was great camaraderie among the alumni spanning five decades.

Organizing this event wouldn’t have been possible without the hard work of several alumni (Madhu, Amit Singh, Anoop, Gaurav, Chitwan, Sarwesh, Vic, Utkarsh, Ashutosh, Rakesh, Tanweer, Nitin, Swarup, Vinay) and alumni spouse (Smita, Sanjib, Afreen) volunteers. A big shout out to all the volunteers for being so enthusiastic in helping and putting all efforts in making this event a great success.

Houston area Spring picnic event will be an annual event for the alumni and their families to get together and relive the ISM days.
