THE NORTH AMERICA CHAPTER OF THE INDIAN SCHOOL OF MINES ALUMNI ASSOCIATION (ISMAANA) is a body incorporated as well as affiliated to the Indian School of Mines Alumni Association, with three overarching objectives: 1. To enable the School alumni to keep in touch with the School and with each other. 2. To promote and foster espirit-de-corps among the past and present students and the teachers of the school. 3. To contribute towards furtherance of science and technology relating to the academic activities at the School in India as well as at the Chapter in North America.

The Chapter is formed and operated exclusively for educational, charitable and scientific purposes and consists of Members and Associate Members as defined in the associations Bylaws. There are 200+ alumni members in North America, a number that is continuously bolstered by new incoming alumni.
