Indian School of Mines University had more than 200 alumni throughout the United States. ISMAANA seeks to perpetuate friendships formed in college through a variety of activities, programs and interactions.

ISMAANA maintains a secure, alumni online directory for alumni of ISMU who are in North America that allows former classmates to stay connected over the years. Once registered and in good standing, ISMAANA members will have access to an exclusive array of resources, including the online alumni directory.

SPOTLIGHT

Ram belongs to the first batch of petroleum engineers who graduated from ISM in 1961. He served as a past president of ISMAANA. He came to USA in 1963 after obtaining a post graduate degree from Imperial College in London. In 1967 he received a Ph D degree from Texas A&M in petroleum engineering and went to work for Amoco in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

After working for 36+ years with Amoco and BP Amoco, he retired in 2003 as a Senior Technical Advisor. He is currently associated with Petrotel Inc of Plano, TX as a Distinguished Reservoir Engineering Advisor. For last 3 years he has been taking several trips to India as an advisor to Reliance and Gujarat State Govt. involved with the Oil & Gas industry.
